Watercolor Paintings |
One of my joys found in my later years has been my hobby of watercolor painting. I believe every soul ought to find some way that they can express that creative something that God, I believe, has placed in each and every soul. Feel free to copy for your own use these humble works of mine, for they are merely gifts given to me by the Lord to share with others. So enjoy and may God bless. Rev. Jim McWhinnie

Thank God for those souls who wake up each morning, go to work, and get the job done. No need for glory, no need for show, no need for wealth or fame, simply the peace in knowing at the end when you return to your moorings, your work meant something to this world, to yourself and to the Lord.

To rise above the cool waters and then sail through the mists, this Mallard reminds us that all of God’s creatures are given both their own distinctive beauty and their own distinctive grace. Joy comes to those who come to know this.
Abundance

For these Cedar Waxwings, a harvest of berries is a bountiful abundance, proof enough of the many generations of God’s Providence for their kind. As for humankind, we too could know that peaceful thanksgiving known by all of God’s creatures if we would allow our souls to recognize the presence of the bountiful abundance. There is wisdom in knowing how little it does take to merit our rejoicing that we have been provided a harvest of than enough.

There is a young lady, I know, who possesses a most remarkable gift. Every time I see her, the joy within my soul begins to rise - her gentle exuberance, her enchantment with life, the sweet and innocent grace within her smile. It is something divine to have this miraculous ability to make joy rise within the soul of others.
Unfinished

Life is like a Stradivarius violin waiting to be played and a sheet parchment waiting for the composer’s hand. Life is given to use by God as always unfinished work but always with the implicit intention of being finished.
