The Sinner’s Prayer
The
Sinner’s Prayer is an outline for us to follow when
asking Jesus into our hearts.
Add your own words to make
the prayer more personal. The Sinner’s Prayer is not
mentioned in the Bible but it is based on Romans
10:9-13. “If you confess with your
mouth the Lord Jesus
and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from
the
dead, you will be saved. For whoever calls upon the
name of the LORD shall be
saved.”
Free Gift of Eternal Life
Sin separates us from God. If we repent and turn from
our sins, God gives us eternal
life. This gift is free
through Jesus Christ. This means you can’t earn eternal
life by
good deeds, going to Church, or anything else.
It simple is a FREE gift! |
